leopard walking wild

Some while back i had a dilemma on a pair of creeper shoes that i wrongly purchased. Well as soon they came in i completely fell in love with them and have made them work..check it out.

shoes of the summer (pimsoll espadrilles)

A detail frenzy is what these are. The color & the sole immediately had me hooked so i had to order them. I usually don't give out my closet resources, but if you play Eye Spy you'll definitely know where to find them. :)

Mara Hruby (the soothing sound)

Mara Hruby is someone that will forever be in my ears and i can honestly say that. Her sound is sweet and melodic and has the ability to calm anyone's life down. The Oakland, Ca native has an amazing nostalgic style which is inspired by the 40s & 50s vintage yet modernized. I highly suggest that you download her free EP
From Her Eyes & check out her website Mara Hruby & follow her on Twitter. Watch her music video "Is This Love" down below.

Jordan Brand Derek Jeter 3K Celebratory Collection

To celebrate Derek Jeter on his historic accomplishment of reaching 3,000 hits, Jordan Brand created a commemorative DJ3K collection that pays tribute to his past and present. The assortment includes a congratulatory Jeter Cut cleat, trainer, batting gloves and T-shirt. The Jeter Cut cleat, designed specifically for Jeter as he approaches 3,000 hits, features a gold Jeter logo, outsole and accents on the upper representing Jeter’s extraordinary achievement and initiation into the exclusive 3K club. The day before his first day of high school, Derek signed what would be his first of many contracts. Drafted by his father, it included various tasks and chores that would help elevate him as a ballplayer and a person. That very contract is replicated and engraved in its entirety on both sock liners and on top of the pack. The woven labels on the back of the tongues include his contract signature “I agree, Derek Jeter” as well as his high school number (13) and current number (2). The Jordan Jeter Cut trainer, Jeter’s 10th signature shoe with Jordan Brand, was created exclusively for Derek and features a maroon upper paying homage to where his career became defined—Kalamazoo Central High School. The contract sock liner and uniform numbers in the cleat are also featured in the trainer.

Tom Ford’s Five Easy Lessons to be a Modern Gentleman

Born in Austin, Texas, Tom Ford has revolution the fashion and film world through his directing, clothing and shoes, look books, eyewear, and interest in provocative imagery. In the Spring/Summer 2011 issue ofAnother Man, Ford gives the public five rules to live by if one wants to be a modern gentleman in the 21st century. Emphasizing ideals such as respect, an open mind, and hard work, Ford promotes becoming the best person one can be. (source)

1. You should put on the best version of yourself when you go out in the world because that is a show of respect to the other people around you.
2. A gentleman today has to work. People who do not work are so boring and are usually bored. You have to be passionate, you have to be engaged and you have to be contributing to the world.
3. Manners are very important and actually knowing when things are appropriate. I always open doors for women, I carry their coat, I make sure that they’re walking on the inside of the street. Stand up when people arrive at and leave the dinner table.
4. Don’t be pretentious or racist or sexist or judge people by their background.
5. A man should never wear shorts in the city. Flip-flops and shorts in the city are never appropriate. Shorts should only be worn on the tennis court or on the beach.

Rick Genest by Aline & Jacqueline Tappia for GQ Italia

Canadian fashion model Rick Genest is the center of attention for GQ Italia this month. Known as “Zombie Boy”, Genest has tattooed about 80% of his body in such a way to portray the idea of the decaying corpse and horror. A recent photoshoot by Aline & Jacqueline Tappia for GQ Italia capture explicit images of his tattoo work. Stylist Peter Cardona picked a multitude of formal and casual pieces for Genest to wear in order to show his versatility as a model.
