Not content with merely camouflaging himself in front of the infamous Houston and Bowery mural, Chinese artist and photographer Liu Bolin continues his Hiding In New York series by painting himself in with the tiles at Greenwich Avenue and Seventh Avenue that were created to commemorate 9/11. Hung informally on a chain-link fence on the corner, the tiles were crafted by native New Yorkers and have remained up since being erected in 2001 shortly after the terrorist attacks. Liu played the chameleon once again by having his assistants paint an impressive suit mimicking the fence as well as his face and hands in order to achieve the shot he was looking for. Who knows where Mr. Bolin will choose for his next iconic NYC photo spot?
